SCORE: Counselors to America's Small Business
Did you know you could receive free small business counseling and advice from SCORE? This non-profit also offers workshops on topics useful to artists such as: writing a business plan, developing your financial projections, how and where to find customers, starting a small business, non-profit organization and more. The counselors are made up of retired business people who want to help the next generation of entrepreneurs. They are not art-specific or trained in the arts, but are very knowledgeable of how to make a successful small business.

Creative Arts Legal League (C.A.L.L.) is a referral service that provides free legal and accounting assistance to income-eligible artists and small arts organizations. For those who are ineligible for free services because their family income or annual operating budgets exceed C.A.L.L. guidelines, C.A.L.L. can provide the names of lawyers and accountants who have expertise in addressing arts-related problems.
