How can the Arts Council help you promote your events? If you are having an exhibition or performance at an arts venue, ask your contact there to add the event to the Arts Council's on-line Events Calendar. If they do not add the event in a timely manner, you may add it yourself. Just follow the simple instructions below. The ACI calendar of events data is shared electronically with The Indianapolis Star, Indianapolis Convention and Visitors Association (ICVA), BeIndypendent.org and IUPUI web sites. Additionally, selected events are also used for printed calendars such as WFYI's Member Magazine as well as our indyarts.org patron e-news that reaches more than 5,000 patrons each Tuesday.
If you have just a few events per year, simply go to www.indyarts.org, under the Search Arts Calendar tab and click on Submit an Event. Fill in the blanks and your event will be on our shared calendar within 48 hours.
Offer classes or workshops to the public? You may use this same form to enter community arts classes onto our sites as well.
Don't forget to submit images of your events and shows as well! E-mail low resolution images to
