The mission of the Regional Arts Partnership is to provide broad, local access to services and funding opportunities for the arts throughout the state of Indiana.  Available services include but are not limited to information and referral, technical assistance, cultural planning, and regranting of state and federal funds.  In collaboration with the IAC, the Regional Arts Partnership exists to promote participation in and advocacy for the arts in Indiana. The Arts Council of Indianapolis serves as the Indiana Arts Commission's Regional Arts Partner in central Indiana (Region 7) that includes Boone, Hamilton, Hendricks, Hancock, Marion, Johnson, and Shelby Counties.

Operating support grants are available for non-profit arts and cultural organizations to provide programming and educational opportunities throughout central Indiana (Region 7) and to support and encourage the stability, development, and vitality of central Indiana’s arts organizations. Grant applications are adjudicated in a public process that is free from conflicts of interest and assures fairness and professionalism and will be scored on:

•    Administration and organizational excellence
•    Arts programming and artistic quality
•    Audience development and visibility efforts
•    Arts education/community outreach efforts
