APRIL GRANTS UPDATE

NEXT GRANT ROUND: COMMUNITY ARTS PROJECT GRANTS

On June 13, 2008, the Arts Council will release the guidelines and application materials for the Community Arts Project (CAP) grant program. The CAP grant program represents allocations from both the City of Indianapolis funding and the Regional Arts Partner (RAP) funding.

The CAP grant program is available to arts organizations with annual budgets under $20,000, arts organizations that did not apply in the January 10 round of applications, and community organizations offering arts-specific programs and projects. The deadline for submission is Friday, July 18, 2008.

2007 FINAL REPORT INFORMATION

Final Report information and forms have been emailed to all grant recipients. The deadline for submission of the report and all attachments and electronic submissions is Wednesday, May 14, 2008. You may submit your report any day up to and including May 14. We will NOT accept Final Reports after May 14. Failure to submit your Final Report will jeopardize the second installment of your 2007 grant and future funding through the Arts Council of Indianapolis.

Marion County arts organizations are required to submit electronically a District Information report as part of their Final Reporting procedure. The Excel spreadsheet e-submission is found in the toolbox at the bottom of the page.

As always, we are appreciative of the City of Indianapolis, the Capital Improvement Board (city funding), the Indiana Arts Commission, and the National Endowment for the Arts (Regional Arts Partner funding) for the allocation of public dollars to support our community's arts and cultural organizations and programs.
